Combining over 15 years of experience in the landscape design and construction industry with today's advanced technology, we focus on providing our clients with unique design solutions that exceed their expectations. With a diverse client base, we take the time to understand each client's needs to formulate a plan, specific to their project, resulting in successful projects and customer satisfaction.

As the nation's sixth largest urban region, Charlotte is also one of the most rapidly growing metropolitan areas in the nation (Charlotte Chamber of Commerce). With this explosive growth, Lancescapes realized the need for a company to provide clients with landscape services that are not only visually appealing and functional, but environmentally sensitive as well. Working with leading suppliers of rain harvesting and graywater distribution systems, we take pride in knowing that each project we work on offers sustainable resource options for our clients. "Going Green" is the future of not only the landscape industry, but our way of life as well and we enjoy educating our clients about these products and services while we design and install them.

About The Founder

Lance has been involved in many aspects of the landscape design/construction and land planning industry since he was 14. His interest in the profession broadened with his first job at a nursery, where his knowledge of plants and landscape design began. He continued his education at Virginia Tech, where he graduated in 2001 with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a minor in Horticulture. This unique pairing of curriculums has enabled Lance to not only understand the design process, but also have a strong knowledge of the natural environment enabling him to creatively and ecologically shape the outdoor spaces we live in.
